	Frequently asked questions: Applying Registering General Questions Applying How do I apply for a job? Once you have found the job you are looking for, make a note of it's reference number and then fill in our registration form, enclosing your CV in the relevant box, and enter the reference number. If you already have registered with us, just email us by using the 'contact' button and emailing the reference number to us and we will pass on your CV to the relevant consultant handling the job. Back to top Registering Why should I register? In order to apply directly for jobs, you need to register with Francis Thompson. Once registered and signed in, you can apply for any job simply by sending an an email with the reference number to us. Your details will then be sent to the appropriate person and they can contact you using the information you have supplied. What happens to my details? The only people who can view your details without you applying for a job first are Francis Thompson employees. They may contact you with jobs which they think you may be interested in. How do I copy and paste my CV? You can copy and paste your CV into the text box provided on the registration form. Open your CV in its appropriate program and highlight the text. Use the copy function (found under'Edit' in most programs, or press Control C simultaneously if in Word). Then return to the registration form, click in the text box and use the paste function (again under Edit, or control V). Why do I need to fill in the details on the form as well as my CV? Some of the details we ask you for on the registration form will also be on your CV. Although your CV will ultimately be what your potential employer will want to see, our consultants can match you with suitable jobs more quickly be searching the fields you fill in. Back to top General Is Francis Thompson an Agency? Yes, Francis Thompson is an employment agency. Most of our jobs on our site come from organisations who want us to help them with their recruitment. As an agency we don't charge job seekers for our services. Can I talk to a human?
